Maintenance Technician /Mechanic II:

Americo Manufacturing Company, Inc.  has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Technician / Mechanic to support operations in both the Acworth and Cartersville, GA plants.  The Maintenance Technician / Mechanic is an entry level position that requires the ability to properly use and maintain basic tools, possess a basic understanding of plant machinery/systems, company products and quality characteristics with a demonstrated use of measuring devices. Other qualifications for the Maintenance Technician / Mechanic is basic knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electric components, basic computer skills, and an understanding of industrial safety practices.   The Maintenance Technician / Mechanic will perform basic carpentry, plumbing and electrical tasks along with basic electrical troubleshooting, performing external PLC diagnostics, basic programming functions, and light welding.  Forklift certification or the ability to become certified required.  Ability to work overtime including nights and weekends required.  Physical requirements for the Maintenance Technician / Mechanic position includes the ability to consistently walk / stand, lift up to 10 pounds, work from ladders and maintenance platform.  Great opportunity for growth and development and on the job training.
